Sunday services
Sunday worship is available both in church and online.
St George’s holds a said eucharistic service at both 9am and 10.30am on Sunday. From 18 April, this also includes the return of children’s groups at the 10.30am service.
St John’s holds a said eucharistic service at 10am on Sunday.
Please note that numbers are restricted due to socially distancing requirements and it is therefore important that you ‘book’ in advance with the office.
Our Benefice service is available via our YouTubechannel each Sunday from 10am.
Optional Community ‘Coffee and Chat’ on Zoom follows the service at 11am (details from our office).

As the grain once scattered in the fields and the grapes once dispersed on the hillside are now reunited on this table in bread and wine, so, Lord, may your whole Church soon be gathered together from the corners of the earth into your kingdom. Dear friends, we are all facing great challenges, and alongside many other parts of our usual social life, the church has had to respond, and we have had to restrict our social gatherings and limit our services.
What this means is a different kind of church, because we are church in many more ways than meeting on Sunday services… St George’s and St John’s are both working to find ways to nurture and support our communities…
