West Berks Foodbank

UPDATE – 08/03/2022 – The Foodbank has noticed a significant drop in the amount of donations they have received in the first couple of months of this year, whilst at the same time demand is rising as food and fuel prices rise. They have launched a campaign asking people to consider giving a bit extra during Lent and Easter.

West Berkshire Foodbank There is a collection box in the cloister area outside St George’s Church, which is emptied regularly during the day. Please drop off any donations as you are passing. The collection point is open open Tuesday – Sunday, from 10.00am – 2.00pm (and often longer).

There are also collection points in supermarkets, and at Sainsbury Local and the Co-op in Wash Common.

There is always an up-to-date list of the items most needed on the Foodbank app or on their website. https://westberks.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/donate-food/
