Prayer and Reflection
Prayer is at the heart of everything we do.
Morning Prayer – takes place on Tuesday via Zoom, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 8.50am at St George’s and Wednesday at 8.50am at St John’s. Details are available from the office.
Contemplative Prayer – a short time for quiet prayer and reflection. 6.00pm – 6.30pm on 1st and 2nd Thursday at St George’s and 3rd and 4th Thursday at St John’s.
Church open for prayer – St George’s Church is open for personal prayer and contemplation on Tuesday – Thursday each week from 10am – 2pm.
St John’s Church is open for personal prayer on Wednesday from 11am – 1pm.
Prayer intentions – a Weekly Prayer Diary is sent out by email including prayers for named individuals, together with prayer intentions for the week for our benefice, the local community and the wider world. The full list of prayer intentions for the month can be accessed here.
