Marking St George’s patronal festival

Last Sunday St George’s marked its patronal festival (slightly delayed due to Easter) with a wonderful service celebrating the life of St George and the life of our church, including an inflatable blue dragon! Music led by our worship group including trumpets, and a lunch to welcome new people to the church made for a joyful mix of worship, fun and fellowship. It was heartening to hear at the lunch of the positive warm welcome that our newest worshippers at St George’s have received.
