Holy Week across the South Newbury benefice
The churches of St George Wash Common, St John Newbury and St Michael Enborne are offering different ways to engage with and reflect on the passion narrative and the journey of faith during Holy Week next week. All are welcome to join the journey at any or all services.
Palm Sunday
St John’s Stations of Holy Week Art & Meditation 7.30pm
Monday
St Michael’s at 7.30 pm Women at the Cross, reflective and mediative service.
Tuesday
St John’s at 12.30pm Holy Communion
St George’s at 7.30pm ’s Taizé Worship
Wednesday
St George’s at 7.30pm Youth-led Worship
Maundy Thursday
St George’s at 12pm Holy Communion with foot washing
St George’s at 7.30pm Holy Communion with foot washing

Good Friday
St George’s at 10am Easter Garden Service for all ages, followed by hot cross buns
St Michael’s at 12 noon Service of reflection and prayer
St George’s at 2pm The Cross of Christ – reflective service of bible readings, choral music, hymns, and holy communion from the reserved sacrament
St John’s at 3pm Good Friday Service
