HM Queen Elizabeth II

St George’s and St John’s Churches were open during the time of national mourning for people to come and light a candle, say a prayer or sign the books of condolence.

On Sunday, 18th September at 6pm in St George’s Church there was a service of prayer and reflection on the eve of the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.

The books of condolence closed on 19th September and normal opening hours resumed on Tuesday, 20th September.
