(OR NON CRAFTERS!!!!!)
Have you got any half finished projects put
away? Or are your cupboards crammed with spare crafting materials? Now’s the
time to put your crafting skills to good use. Or maybe it’s time to try a new skill
or hobby.
While we are all housebound, we thought it might
be a good idea if we put our crafting skills to good use. So we suggest that as
a ‘virtual’ community we work at home to create a wide variety of items which
we could sell at a sale of work when we are all allowed out! Proceeds would go
to a charity(still to be nominated). We would like to have a childrens’s table
at the sale.
We know there are in our community:
- Knitters
- Crocheters
- Painters
- Wood carvers
- Wood turners
- Needleworkers
- Embroiderers
- Calligraphers
We are sure there are other hobbies which we
don’t know about.
If none of these are your skills, how about
providing spare produce or plants from your garden or allotment which might be
flourishing at the time. These are just a few suggestions.
